New York state of mind
After some frantic Craigslist-ing, I’ve found somewhere to stay in New York and I’ll be there by about 6:00pm today via the WiFi-equipped MegaBus. It’s just near Prospect Park in Brooklyn which is a little further out than I’d prefer, but it’s a small room in a big house so it’s about half what I’d be paying anywhere else. As an added bonus, another of the flatmates is moving out and they’re having a small going away party for her tonight, so I get to meet some people.
But of course tips on NYC and/or new friends are always welcome!
Completely unrelated, I know everyone would be disappointed if I didn’t link to this (via Fake Steve). Also, I will probably get to see the Apple Tablet in person before all of you (at the 5th Avenue store, nach!) so nyah.
