The National Mall
Second installment tonight: the National Mall, Washington D.C.
I started at one end and walked the length and breadth of it, which took a substantial amount of time. A minor triumph was not slipping over in the snow. A major embarrassment was getting half way down and realising I had confused two rather significant buildings of quite different size and purpose. But this is why we travel, to learn something.
