The High Line and some random New York

This is the view from the F train going between Manhattan and where I was staying near Prospect Park in Brooklyn. The sign is somewhat famous and even has its own Facebook group. I saw it just about every day going back and forth.

Most of tonight’s gallery however comes from a photography expedition I did to the High Line, in Chelsea. It was a disused elevated railway saved from demolition by the activism of some local residents and turned into a park (though I get the impression it had effectively been a park for years before that—if you could get up there.) It’s quite a beautiful design and it was a lovely sunset.

Haven’t had the chance to update for a while, but briefly: work is going well, I’m enjoying London (except for the bloody weather) and I’ll need to be here for six months if I’m going to have time to meet up with all my friends over here. If you’re for some reason desperate for more information, I’m much more frequent with ze Twats.
