Escape From New York

As I mentioned in my last post, the second of the two reasons for my trip to New York was to go to the opening of the massive show my friend Olympia curated in Paterson, New Jersey, called Escape From New York. I’d heard all about it on ze twats and Facebook for a couple of months and knew it was a massive undertaking. As I was going to be in town so close to the opening I couldn’t not go.

It turned out to be wonderful. It’s such an incredibly huge, raw, old building and some of the works really need, and use, all that space. The show is on every weekend between 11am and 6pm through to June 19 and if you’re in the hemisphere I encourage you to go see it. If you’re a wealthy art collector especially so!
